Iranian Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh stated on January 2 that the Islamic Republic will resolutely respond to foreign threats.
Elchi.az reports that this was reported by Tasnim.
Visiting the home of General Lieutenant Hussein Salami, the former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), who died during the 12-day war with Israel, A. Nasirzadeh said that some countries will not be able to stop Iran’s missile program.
“Our missile potential cannot be destroyed either by bombs or through negotiations,” A. Nasirzadeh said.
He added that Iran will not be weakened by resolutions adopted by countries “whose history is only 250 years old.”
According to the Minister of Defense, Iran’s military power has increased significantly after the 12-day war.
“If any danger arises, we will respond to it decisively and without hesitation,” A. Nasirzadeh added.
