A 6.5 magnitude earthquake has been recorded in the state of Herrero in southwestern Mexico.

According to Elchi.az, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center reported this.

According to reports, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 42 kilometers southeast of Chilpancingo, a city with a population of 187,000, and the focus was at a depth of 42 kilometers.

No casualties or damage have been reported.
