The US will provide $8.6 billion in arms aid to Israel. As part of the aid, Boeing will provide the Israeli army with 25 F-15 fighter jets, with another 25 to be produced later.
Elchi.az reports that after a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida, the Pentagon announced that it would provide $8.6 billion in arms aid to Israel.
The Pentagon said in a statement: “This contract includes the design, integration, testing, production and delivery of 25 new F-15IA aircraft for the Israeli Air Force, with an option for an additional 25 F-15IA aircraft.”
The Pentagon said the deal involved foreign military sales to Israel. The US has long been the largest arms supplier to its closest ally in the Middle East.
According to the Pentagon, work under the contract will be carried out in St. Louis. Work will be carried out in St. Louis and is expected to be completed by December 31, 2035.
