The US military has launched another attack on a boat allegedly carrying drugs in the Eastern Pacific Ocean. Two people were killed in the attack.
Elchi.az reports that the US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) announced that a boat allegedly carrying drugs in the Eastern Pacific Ocean was attacked and two people were killed.
SOUTHCOM shared a video on its X account showing the moment a boat allegedly carrying drugs was shot down in the Eastern Pacific Ocean. The post claimed that the boat, which was shot down yesterday in international waters on the order of US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, was operating for a group described as a “terrorist organization.”
The post claimed that the boat’s involvement in drug trafficking activities in the Eastern Pacific Ocean was confirmed, and that two people on board were killed in the attack and that US military forces were not harmed.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump also confirmed reports that the US attacked a port area in Venezuela.
Trump said: “We struck a port area in Venezuela where boats were being loaded with drugs. It caused a big explosion. They were loading drugs onto boats there. We hit both all the boats and the area. That port is no longer there.”
