Nine people were injured in an accident in Antwerp, Belgium, when one tram collided with another.
Elchi.az reports, citing Belga, that two trams on lines 5 and 9 heading towards the Zwijndrecht district of Antwerp collided at around 8:30 a.m. local time.
In the accident near the Halewijnlaan area, two tram drivers and seven passengers were injured, but authorities said none of the injured were in life-threatening condition.
The accident caused disruptions on tram lines 3, 5, 9 and 15, and an investigation has been launched into the causes of the accident.
