Everyone who supported the attempted coup in Georgia on October 4 must be held accountable before the law.
Elchi.az reports with reference to Teleqraf that this was said by Tamar Kekenadze, a member of the “Gakharia for Georgia” party.
“All persons who in any way supported the so-called coup sabotage, first of all, the former president Mikheil Saakashvili’s National Movement Party and organizations and individuals affiliated with it, must be held accountable. We are also talking about the political responsibility of those who played the role of spectators in this process. Here we are talking about former President Salome Zurabishvili,” she said.
It should be reminded that today the Tbilisi City Court has chosen detention as a preventive measure against Bacho Akhalaya, the former Minister of Defense of Georgia, who is accused of organizing the attack on the presidential palace in the capital on October 4.
